about

I wrote this song in late 2012 and recorded it over the span of 2015 during free time. Parts were recorded in East Haddam, Connecticut and others in the two apartments I've occupied in Brooklyn.

lyrics

The only hole is the one you've dug
But the spade's in my hand when you're done
No guilt to subside, don't blame me for where you confide
I guess nothing you could say could fill the void looming in my heart
I guess nothing you could do could take me to where you wanted me
to go

In time you'll find

The only way is to feel this way
Of course you'd feel otherwise
I did my part to change my ways
A side-step and a compromise
I guess nothing you could say could fill the void looming in my heart
I guess nothing you could do could take me to where you wanted me
to go

I see right through your anger
There's no fault of my own for the claims that you stake
They're all just a projection of you in...
In time you'll find
There's no fault of my own for the claims that you stake
They're all just a projection of you in mourning

I merely begin. The only limitations set before me are those of my abilities. This process affords me the luxury to reflect upon my subconscious and learn about myself. Music and art breed growth in life ... more
